Why the application needs its own trial plan
Plan a slag or GGBFS grinding-aid trial using fineness, residue, energy and activity—not Blaine alone.
A result is comparable only when product quality and operating boundary are defined before the trial.
Baseline data checklist
- Slag chemistry, glass content and source
- Feed moisture and drying capacity
- Ball mill or VRM baseline
- Blaine, residue and PSD where available
- Activity index or mortar strength
- Flowability, storage and transport
Recommended trial sequence
- Stabilize and record an untreated baseline.
- Confirm product identity, density and dosing calibration.
- Apply one agreed dosage step without changing unrelated controls.
- Wait for circuit stabilization and collect time-matched process and cement samples.
- Compare process, cement quality and economics together.
