Why the application needs its own trial plan

Plan a slag or GGBFS grinding-aid trial using fineness, residue, energy and activity—not Blaine alone.

A result is comparable only when product quality and operating boundary are defined before the trial.

Baseline data checklist

  • Slag chemistry, glass content and source
  • Feed moisture and drying capacity
  • Ball mill or VRM baseline
  • Blaine, residue and PSD where available
  • Activity index or mortar strength
  • Flowability, storage and transport

Recommended trial sequence

  1. Stabilize and record an untreated baseline.
  2. Confirm product identity, density and dosing calibration.
  3. Apply one agreed dosage step without changing unrelated controls.
  4. Wait for circuit stabilization and collect time-matched process and cement samples.
  5. Compare process, cement quality and economics together.

Standards & method references

The applicable standard, edition and local regulatory requirement must be confirmed for each project. A reference does not claim product compliance.
