What “chloride-free” must mean
The phrase should refer to an identified product specification and test method. It must not be assumed for every grade or inferred from a company management certificate. Ask for the current TDS and, where required, a batch COA or test report.
Questions for technical review
- Is chloride intentionally added to the formulation?
- What limit and test method appear on the current specification?
- Is the value total chloride, chloride ion or another reported basis?
- Does the target cement standard impose a finished-cement limit?
- How does the proposed dosage affect the contribution per tonne of cement?
Do not confuse three different claims

| Finished-cement compliance | Determined on the cement under the applicable standard and total material contribution. |
